Proverbs 25 verse 28 says a man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls. How many of us end up with

broken lives, broken relationships, and spiritual vitality broken down because we lack self-control.

My wife and I recently released a book for children titled The King who Found His

Self- Control and we talk about the importance of teaching this to our kids,

but in this series I'm turning the

focus to us now who are beyond the age of childhood and I want to look first at

five self-control breakers so we can identify the kind of attitudes that bring down the strength of

our self-control. Picture your self-control like a city and its walls and these
