| 0:00.0 | Your trade deadline must be coming up in your fantasy league, so right now is the time to strike. |
| 0:04.2 | And in this video, we'll be talking about the five running backs that are league winners, and you should be trading for them before it's too late. And the first one might be the biggest league winner of them all. It's Tyron Tracy, who continued to have a very strong role in week nine for the New York Giants, despite the veteran Devon Singletary being healthy and active. Because in week 9, as you can see right here, Tracy played 69% of the snaps according to fantasy life. |
| 0:04.4 | And then right here it says 53% of the rush attempts. But if you factor out Daniel Jones carries, he had a lot of carries in this game. Tracy was actually seeing 70% of the backfield carries. That 69% of the snaps is the highest he's seen in a game with Devin Singletary this year. And for what it's worth, he also saw the majority of the snaps. |
| 0:38.4 | We're talking over 70% of them in the two-minute offense and the obvious passing down |
| 0:42.0 | situations. |
| 0:42.8 | So pretty quietly, he's been kind of this workhorse back lately, especially in week nine. |
| 0:46.6 | And right here, though, he only finished with 7.9 points. |
| 0:49.2 | Now, he started the game with like 50 rushing yards. |
| 0:51.3 | I was facing Tracy in a couple of leagues. I had him on my own team in a couple of leagues. So I was watching this closely. He had 50 rushing yards in like the first quarter. He only ends up with 66 yards. 66 yards. 69 when you factor in receiving him. But the big thing here, 17 total touches. 16 carries had a reception in this one. 17 total opportunities. And now if we were to look over the last five weeks since Devin Singletary initially got hurt, Tracy looks great. And here's exactly what that means. Over this last five weeks span, since he started to see a bigger role because of initially the Devin Singletary injury, 69% of the snaps, 59% of the overall team carries. If you look at just a backfield carries during that time, he's seeing about 70% of those. So the role is great, but I know what you're saying. Sure, Devin Singletary missed two of those games. Okay, well, let's remove those two games. Because in the last three games with Singletary back, Tracy is still seeing 65% of the snaps and 16.3 opportunities per game. This is elite usage for the former college wide receiver who's only |
| 1:45.0 | played the running back position for like one to two years. And it makes sense that the |
| 1:48.0 | Giants are giving him the ball because he's just been dynamic. He has great size at about |
| 1:51.0 | 210 pounds. You scroll over to his overall workout metrics according to player profiler and |
| 1:56.0 | everything here is fantastic. You have 76 percentile speed. 4-48 is great for the size of 210 pounds. |
| 2:01.8 | 93rd percentile burst, 96 percentile agility. All of this is electric. And then we go over |
| 2:06.8 | to what he's actually been doing when given touches this year. Five and a half yards per |
| 2:10.2 | touch is what this guy is averaging. A fifth round rookie, a late round rookie ranks top 10 in the |
| 2:14.5 | NFL in yards per touch on an offense that stinks on a offensive line that has been averaged to really bad now that Andrew Thomas is out for the year Tracy is still getting it done. And right now is the time to buy low off of just a seven point fantasy day because next week in London it is going to be the bounce back spot of all bounce backs as a five point favorite against the Panthers who allow the most rushing yards per game, a Panthers defense that just gave up this. This production to Alvin Kamar, maybe the quietest 200 yards, 35 touch game you'll ever see. 215 total yards, 35 touches. Tracy can get involved not only on the ground in this one for 15 plus carries, but I want to be shocked against these Panthers, these Panthers linebackers in defense if he sees four or five receptions as well in week 10. |
| 2:52.6 | And then if you were to just look ahead a little bit, okay, the matchup against the Panthers is great. The matchup at home against the Bucks is also a good one, a bottom five run defense. Then you look right here, the Cowboys, a bottom five run defense, the Saints, a bottom five dead last ring tackling defense. The next month of the season for Tyron Tracy is fantastic. |
| 2:50.2 | He is somebody who |
| 3:08.3 | can help you get into your fantasy postseason and then even in the playoffs, he's going to have an elite role to help you win your fantasy league. So right now, Tracy is somebody that you have to be targeting in trades and the same could be true for this next guy. And that's the Packers running back Josh Jacobs who, look, this guy was on his way to like a career day. And I'm not just saying that like a career day in week nine until he just wasn't and honestly a lot of it |
| 3:07.8 | wasn't his fault. Like, look at this right here. Josh Jacobs against the lines, which is a tough matchup in a poor weather game, a run game, tough to get your footing. He has 95 carries, 13 receiving or 95 yards, not 95 carries 95 rushing yards 13 receiving yards so what does he end up with in this game? 108 total yards. |
| 3:41.9 | Okay, in general, that's a good game. He extended his streak of 90 plus yards in a game to five straight games now. And Matt LaFleur, the Packers coach, the play caller, was dominating these lines, linebackers. Even though it's a good defensive line, he was scheming it up for Josh Jacobs to find success. And all was going well until Jordan Love, who was playing clearly banged up in this game, did this. |
