I just want to ramble a little bit about something that's been on my mind before we get in today's topic,

because I've been thinking about, I don't know, maybe you can agree with this or you've had something in your life that

uh this kind of like meshes with you getting from zero percent to like 80 or 90 percent in any sort of skill in life is so much easier than getting from that 80 to 90 percent point to nearing perfection.

I don't think perfection is ever really attainable. There's always something you can improve but

instead of perfection let's use the word professional level. Getting from

amateur enthusiast level to professional level is so much harder and there's so many more

fiddly details and just weird things that you have to figure out how to deal with than

there are when you're getting from zero to the point at which most
