Yes, it is. Parenting is hard, absolutely. In fact, I think every real relationship can come with some challenges. All of them can be a bit hard. Being intentional as an adult child, a good friend, a courteous neighbor, maybe a helpful coworker, a visionary leader, or a humble servant, these are all challenging

roles. They're difficult relationships to find ourselves. Every worthy relationship, though,

is certain to endure periods of tension. Even relationships with those that we care for deeply can

erode because of busyness or emotional or physical distance, maybe even simple misunderstandings,

repeated letdowns, accidental slights, or perceived deliberate affronts. Over time, the golf can

appear too great a bridge. As a speaker, I occasionally get invited to inspire individuals within

business units to come together, to work through differences, clarify roles, reconnect as a team, and move forward together.

I share five questions when we do this to begin the journey forward together.
