former President Donald Trump spoke from the defense table for roughly five minutes

during his New York civil fraud trial before Judge Arthur and Goren cut him off.

The judge told him to comment on the facts of the case during closing arguments, but

Trump instead went into a monologue, calling the case a quote, political witch hunt. He and his defense team spoke to

reporters after concluding their closing arguments, repeating the same rhetoric as

he did inside the courtroom. We've proven this case so conclusively and we've asked for directed verdict many times

they don't have any facts they don't have any evidence against us.

Trump's business empire in the state is on the line.

The judge who had already found that Trump and others committed persistent and repeated fraud

is determining how much the Trump's and their company must pay from profits they've allegedly

gained through fraudulent business practices,

including inflating Trump's worth on financial statements.

The judge will issue a written decision by the end of the month.

The Federal Aviation Administration says it's investigating Boeing's quality control,
