We begin with the devastating aftermath of deadly natural disasters in two North African countries,

intense flooding from Storm Daniel that has killed at least 5,300 people,

according to Libyan officials, has led to a dire situation.

In the eastern Libyan city Derna, which was badly hit, to a

The spokesperson also says Libyan National Army.

They need help desperately and as quickly as possible.

Basically in the span of 24 hours this area of eastern Libya received the equivalent

of eight months of normal rainfall.

And in Morocco, locals and tourists are donating blood to help people

injured in the 6.8 magnitude earthquake that struck Friday.

Moroccan state-run media says the quake killed more than 2,900 people and wounded more than 5,500 others.
