December 6th. We start with breaking news of a shooting on the University of

Nevada Las Vegas campus. Police report that there appears to be multiple victims and they say the

suspected shooter is dead. The investigation is still underway and will have the

latest developments at 10. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

says Israeli forces have surrounded the house of Hamas's highest-ranking leader

Yaya Sinwar in southern Gaza.

His house is not his fortress and he can escape, but it's only a matter of time until we get him.

The Israeli military believes sinewars quote underground in Gaza but didn't say specifically

where they believe he is. Senior advisor to Netanyahu, Mark Regev, said the military's encirclement was, quote,

a symbolic victory for Israel.

Meanwhile, the UN's main agency operating in Gaza says the Gaza Strip has become quote one of the most

dangerous places in the world. This follows a wave of newly displaced refugees in

the South by Israeli bombardment. The Senate is expected to vote on a national security spending bill today,

but it may not have the votes to pass.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell says Republicans are planning to block the bill

because it doesn't adequately address
