Hello from CNN, I'm a Falmedique, with the five things you need to know for Wednesday, January time. From the The airline says it's Boeing 737 Max9 planes will be grounded for at least several more days.

That means more flight cancellations through Saturday.

The FAA grounded the planes last week after a large hole blew out of the side of a plane Friday. The airline the

airline says it's still waiting on instructions from the agency to begin inspections

before the planes can be used.

The cause of the blowout is under investigation. During an interview with

CNBC Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun acknowledged that a quote quality escape

occurred at some point that allowed the plane to fly in the first place.

A fuselage plug blew out.

That's the mistake.

It can never happen.

We're going to want to know what broke down in our gauntlet of inspections,

what broke down in the original work that allowed for that escape to happen.

The House Judiciary Committee has voted to approve a resolution calling for Hunter Biden to be held in contempt of Congress

for failing to comply with the subpoena last month.

The House Oversight and Judiciary Committees held separate meetings on the matter earlier today.

Hunter Biden unexpectedly came to Capitol Hill for the oversight hearing, but only stayed for 10 minutes.
