In this video, we're going to be breaking down the five players who are skyrocketing up the fantasy rankings after free agency. The dust is settled from free agency and a lot of players have benefited, but in my opinion, none more than the five guys in this video. And let's start with Amarion Hampton of the Los Angeles Chargers. He had a rookie year that was quietly impressive when you factor in that he was injured when he didn't have the greatest offensive line due to some injuries. And overall in his rookie season, he goes out there, he averages about 60 rushing yards per game. This is cut short because he was limited in games he got hurt or games he was coming back from. But when at the end of the day, you look at what he did on a per game basis, he averaged 15.1 fantasy points per game. That was top 12 RB1 production last

year as a rookie in PPR formats. And again, this is considering that a couple of those games

0:43.7

are skewed because he left early or was limited coming back from injury. And when you really

0:48.0

break it down and you look at his breakout stretches right before injury and then towards the end

0:52.3

of the season, he was finally getting ramp back up. You were getting workhorse RB usage. This was at the beginning of the season. In those three

0:58.0

games from weeks three, four and five, if you were in a Mario and Hampton fantasy manager, you loved

1:02.2

it. He was giving you 21.8 ppr points per game between his receiving yards of 40 yards and rushing

1:08.0

yards of 80. He was getting over 120 total yards per game during that time, six targets per game as well. And now you head into this season, year two, healthier. And you look at what just happened in free agency. And in my opinion, it's hard not to get excited about Hampton being once again a second round pick and fantasy. The Chargers did a lot in free agency. And this team changes tracker in the fantasy blueprint, which you can check out right now for pre-order at the lowest rate on blueprint drop.com. It's also linked down below. They did a lot. This is just on offense. Doesn't even factor in the defense. You could see so far their subtractions. They lost pieces of their offensive line. Bradley Bozeman considering retirement at center, Zion Johnson, Mackay Beckton, guys who were along this offensive line last year who were key contributors and or banged up and the entire line suffered.

1:49.6

But you look at what their additions were.

1:51.4

Tyler Badez, in my opinion, I believe he was one of the first center signed in free agency.

1:55.3

He was great in terms of the price that they got him at when you're looking at guys like overall Tylerler linderbom going for like 28 million dollars per year solid signing of tyler bidetas for around 10 to 12 million i think less than that per year yeah his contract was exactly 10 million dollars per year three years 30 million dollars of course without the incentives it's probably going to be a little bit less than that so that's an awesome awesome addition if you start there. But look at what they did overall for this.

2:18.6

So you add Tyler Badez, that's good. You add Cole Strange at Guard. Okay, that's good. But then you're also adding guys like Alec Ingold of fullback. You're adding Charlie Kohler who comes over from the Ravens who can block and also catch but was buried behind Isaiah likely and Mark Andrews there. this is what Mike McDaniel, the new offensive coordinator of the Chargers, wants to do.

2:36.1

He wants to do.

2:36.2

He wants to get guys in there who can help him establish his run game like he did with the 49ers and with the Dolphins. Now, the only competition added to this backfield with Najee Harris, still currently a free agent, doesn't look like he's coming back to the team, was running back Keaton Mitchell. And this is honestly a very good signing for the Chargers in real life.

2:52.2

When you think about this backfield now, you And this is honestly a very good signing for the

2:50.9

Chargers in real life. When you think about this backfield now, you're going to get Amarian Hampton, their former first round pick, by the way, right? You're going to get Keaton and Mitchell, and you're going to get Kamani Vidal, Vidal, who's shown flashes in the past. Keen Mitchell coming in as a free agent who's dealt with injuries in the past, although an explosive player, and Amaranhan Hampton, who looks like your all-purpose three down back.

3:08.5

But Kea Mitchell is an interesting fit.

3:09.8

I saw some people on fantasy Twitter and in general talking about how he'll have a bigger role than a lot of people expect. And I think that is going to be true. He kind of embodies that the Von A-chan type role like Mike McDaniel had with the Dolphins. I mean, they're kind of similar in size. Keaton is even a little bit smaller than HN, I believe, 188 pounds. We know what HN has done the past couple of seasons with Mike McDaniel as his coach.

3:28.0

You're looking. they're kind of similar in size. Keaton Mitchell is even a little bit smaller than A-chan, I believe, 188 pounds. We know what A-chan has done the past couple of seasons with Mike McDaniel as his coach.

3:28.0

You're looking at the RB5 in fantasy points per game last year, over 20 points per game in a terrible

3:32.2

situation, RB6 in fantasy points per game the year before that. Obviously, they're not the same players,

3:37.0

but they came out at a similar time into the NFL, and both of them were like one and two that year and all time in yards per touch before Kea and Mitchell got injured in his first year at the Ravens. And the other backfield competition is Kamani Vidal, who we saw him carry a nice workload last year when Amarion Hampton was injured. If we scroll down right here overall last season, he had 155 carries. He was averaging 4.2 yards per carry. So, I mean,
