| 0:00.0 | In this video, we're breaking down five NFL drafts, sleepers, who I believe could still break fantasy football this year. They're not the obvious names at the absolute top of the draft board, but the guys in this video, if they land in the right spot, have a real chance to be fantasy contributors in year one. And we're going to start with a guy that throughout this entire process, I just continue to like more and more as I watched the film. as I watched some of his interviews as recent as a day ago, |
| 0:22.0 | Jonah Coleman, the running back out of Washington. This is a guy that it's hard not to like him, especially once you start to hear him talk on the mic, just so well-spoken and just understands the game. 5 foot 8, 220 pounds. I believe he was on with Matt Harmon and Yahoo the other day on a podcast, and he coined himself a four downback. Three down back is just known in the NFL. He said, I'm a four down back. Like the first guy I've ever said, say that just brilliant from a marketing standpoint. But he means it based on his playing style. Let's break it down. So this is a 22-year-old running back who did not take part in the NFL combine from a testing standpoint, but he was the second most productive running |
| 0:55.2 | back at the combine in terms of next gen's production score overall. And this was because he was |
| 1:00.2 | really good in college. If you look at these past couple of years, 2024 was his breakout season, |
| 1:04.9 | five and a half yards per carry, had over 1,000 rushing yards alone double-digit touchdowns. |
| 1:08.9 | Last year, he was off to a very good start before dealing with some knee problems after the second game of the season when he scored five |
| 1:14.9 | touchdowns in that game, finishes the season with 758 rushing yards, 17 touchdowns, but then he adds in a |
| 1:21.4 | very strong for the third straight season receiving profile. This was his best yet, 31 catches, |
| 1:26.7 | 354 yards, and a 10% target share. |
| 1:29.4 | So total yardage overall over his past two seasons at Washington was about 1,100 per season. |
| 1:35.0 | He's catching around 25 balls per year, his final three years of college. He is a true, |
| 1:39.4 | not three down, in his words, four down back. And we should call out that he did break out a little |
| 1:43.5 | bit earlier in 23 at age 20 at Arizona before transferring. |
| 1:48.0 | He had 8, 871 rushing yards, his best yards per carry at 6.8 yards per carry. |
| 1:52.8 | So this was, you know, not an 18-year-old breakout, but it was a running back who found success at 20 years old. |
| 1:58.2 | He matches all the size and overall like ideal size from a 5 foot |
| 2:02.2 | 8 standpoint, 220 pounds of an NFL running back in today's modern day. And you can also catch |
| 2:06.8 | the ball. So these are all things that we love to see. Then you factor in that and just in terms |
| 2:11.3 | of like the small things. I think Ian Hartens on Twitter coined that the little things. He's |
| 2:15.8 | great in those areas. Running back prospects for first downs per carry rate in this draft class since 2015. |
| 2:22.0 | Number one, Jonah Coleman overall. |
| 2:24.3 | So just absolutely fantastic. |
