Welcome back to another special edition of the 24-7 sports football recruiting podcast,

a five-minute morning episode with Mike Roach.

He's a recruiting analyst covering the Texas Longhorns

for the 24-7 Sports Network. Mike, how are we doing? Good, Blair. How are you doing? Not too bad.

So on these five-minute morning episodes, we preview a big weekend on Fridays, typically, and Texas

is lining up a monster recruiting weekend, one of the biggest ones in the country

with a lot of high profile prospects expected to be in Austin at the same time.

Yeah, they had a big one last weekend with a bunch of big time, 2023 guys,

but this will be their biggest 2022 weekend so far.

And it's going to be encompassed by most of their commits and then a bunch of

their top targets. Just the guys that we'll have a full visitor preview on Horns 24-7 Friday

morning. But the guys who are coming are, of course, are headline by Malik Murphy, the quarterback

commit for Texas from out in your neck of the woods player. Then a couple of other Californians,

including a C.J. Williams from Day, will be out that way.

And then I think Larry Turner Gooden, the Arizona State Commits, going to make an unofficial visit early next week.

But Texas will also be hosting several of their top cornerback targets in Denver Harris and Terrence Brooks and then Kelvin Banks, probably their top offensive line target at the moment.

So it's going to be a really big weekend. Not to mention Evan Stewart, who's, I would say probably the is from what I heard about

his performance of future 50 has got to be trending towards being the top receiver in the country.

So yeah, really big weekend for Texas. And, you know, they've, they've had a couple of really good

weekends as far as the post visit feedback. So we'll see kind of where things are coming out of this weekend.

We both got to see Evan Stewart close and personal at the Under Armour All-America Camp Series stop out in the state of Texas earlier this spring.
