Hey, everyone.

Hey, everyone. Emily Abadi here. You are listening to another episode of Five Minute Friday on Hurtle.

Good morning, good afternoon. Good evening. I want to talk about giving 100% of whatever you have on any given day.

0:33.7

I'm just going to jump right into it. This week has been challenging for me for a number of reasons.

0:42.1

And I in the past have been very frustrated with myself during moments of turbulence, especially when there are items that I need to get done on my

0:57.2

to-do list, or I just feel as though I, quote, unquote, should be able to operate in a different

1:05.2

capacity. The fact is, though, that we are not going to wake up every single morning and have it all

1:13.7

together. The motivation may not always be there. The amount that we feel capable is going to

1:20.2

differentiate from day to day. And so something that has really stuck with me lately is that on the days that you wake up and you feel

just a little, right? When you view it in that way, you approach the days where your tank

1:58.2

feels like it's half full. And yes, I'm saying that full to be

2:02.9

optimistic, you're approaching that day where the tank feels half full with a bit more grace,

2:09.8

with a bit more compassion for how it is that you are capable of showing up in that moment

2:16.5

to meet that moment. Listen, it would be weird if you woke up

2:22.4

every day and felt 100%. That is not human. And in the scheme of things here, we're talking about

2:27.6

being relatable and vulnerable and not perfect. No one is perfect. Say it louder for the people in the back.

2:37.0

So maybe this is you this week. Maybe you're also feeling like your battery is in the yellow, right?

2:44.7

So when it's in the yellow, do the best to show up with what you can to meet that moment and recognize that it won't stay

2:54.0

in the yellow forever. When you give yourself grace and compassion, you are plugging it in,

3:01.5

right? And it's going to take time to get back up. It's going to take time to recharge. But when you plug it in and you do the
