Hey everyone, Emily Abadi here bringing you another installment of 5 Minute Friday, the

first for season six. I feel like I've been having to do that a lot lately. I feel like I've

been having to take a lot of deep breaths because I have been living in like a state of overwhelm,

which is to be expected because I in under a week am moving from the upper east side to Brooklyn.

I'm changing burrows. It's something I never expected in my life that I would be living in Brooklyn

and work is also super hectic with last week's special series. There was a lot going on and it just

has life new challenges for me each and every day. So it's interesting because for the most part,

I would say in the weeks leading up to now and the weeks leading up to my move, I've been really

excited. I felt really purposeful with this. I felt very sure of my decision. Last week I went

to go measure the apartment and it was the first time that I went there that the apartment was

completely empty when I initially saw the space. There was a couple still living there and so I stood

in the middle of the apartment and I'm just like looking around me kind of an awe of the fact that

this is going to be my space and it's going to be my home and it's something that I always dreamed for

myself but just never really thought was going to happen. I left the apartment and I went for a walk

around the neighborhood and I stopped and did some work at a cafe for a while and just sitting

there and looking around me and seeing the people that were walking by, the kinds of people that

were walking by, I felt truly at home. I felt like there was so much promise about me being in this

place and spending time in this place in the weeks going forward but I digressed because Thursday

morning I went on a run and I decided that I wanted to run down Library Way in Central Park

which is kind of in the middle of Central Park near the Big Fountain. A lot of movies are filmed

there and I literally get to the top of Library Way and I'm starting to run down it and emotion

just completely overtook me. I expected to feel some kind of way maybe because I don't run
