I had a week. I had a week that candidly was full of a lot of frustrating moments. By the end of the day on Wednesday, I was just like, what is

happening here? It's like often we hear that quote unquote bad things come in threes.

And I believe that by the end of Wednesday, I was at at least five things that weren't exactly stellar.

And one of those things, this is a PSA for anyone who may be wearing a long dress this summer,

don't do it while riding a city bike because after having a bit of a

rough day, I decided that I was going to take myself out to dinner and I got to the street via

bike that the restaurant was on and about a half a block away my dress got tangled up in the

gears of the bike. I had to drag the bike off to the side because the wheel couldn't spin because

my dress was in the gears. I'm connected to the bike. A friend of mine that lived a half a block away

came. Then her husband came with scissors

and cut me out of the bike. Yeah. Like these are the kinds of things. And I am just like raising

my fists at the universe and I'm like, what did I do to deserve this this week? But I digress.

So fast forward to Thursday morning. I am up quite early because I am

heading to Eugene for the Olympic track and field trials. And I want to get in my workout before I get

on the plane. And so I go do my workout. It feels great. I'm running back.

And it feels like a movie montage. I'm running. The run feels effortless. I feel like a soft breeze

coming at me from the west.

And in this moment, the endorphins really hit. And I realize that all the things that I've been so stressed about,

not that my feelings aren't or weren't valid, they were.
