It was a little colder at the tail end of this week than I would

have liked, but rumor has it. It's going to be 80 degrees here in New York on Saturday, which is

wild, absolutely wild. And I'm not mad about it in the least bit. I plan to spend as much time

outside as possible, period. For five minute this week, I want to spend as much time outside as possible, period.

For five minute this week, I want to talk about this idea that I have been navigating,

thinking about struggling with maybe a little bit lately, that you're not supposed to share

the journey toward your big wins or your successes.

I posted something about this on

Instagram yesterday and it seemed to resonate with a lot of folks. It's this concept that

things happen for some folks and especially in the world of social media, I feel like all too often

it is just landing with a big

share. It's like, I'm coming out with a book or I'm doing a morning show segment or I'm so

excited to share that I'm on this podcast or I am announcing this big thing. I could go on and make up other examples, but I think

you get the gist. And so many people that I respect and admire and watch, even if it's just

from the wings, so to speak, they make these announcements and there's just no context on all of the hard work that got this person
