Today is the day the Lord has made and these are the times to which God has decided we shall live.

I appreciate you helping us get through a week where Sid Gabito, a friend,

earlier this week, my dear friend, Dory Monson has gone to the Lord and God rest you Dory.

And that meant that I didn't get enough time to do show prep in the way that I consider proper.

For programs like, well, for mine, I just, I can't do Slop. It hurts me.

So I am taking today and tomorrow off to reload and come back next week stronger than ever, as they would say.

And I've invited some friends to come on board and host.

It's going to be Friday. It's going to be Zach Abraham on his own and also a show my wife picks.

So that will be the one best of that we do.

Today in this five minute focus, our one, my friend Sarah Carter is a colleague with Radio America.

She has a podcast called Dark Wars and it's about the war on the border.

We've had Sarah on the program. You've heard her.

I don't know that anyone knows more about the border than Sarah and what's actually going on there because she goes down there

and she watches and she reports back to us.

She is going to come in on our one with something she's anxious to share with this audience.

I'm excited to share an interview I did with author John DeGirolomo discussing his book on how child predators and traffickers operate in small towns all across America.

We as parents have to be able to identify the signs of trafficking so that we can protect our kids and the families in our community.
