So today, I'm calling this a message or a testimony, not a sermon, she is not a preacher,

she is a dear sister in Christ, and she shared her particular testimony at a conference,

and the back story to this particular testimony or message and its impact in my life reaches

back almost a decade. I was deconstructing and reconstructing, if you will, a biblical theology on

healing, God's will, suffering, and all kinds of chaos that I had believed and been fed from the

prosperity gospel. A friend of mine named Travis Allen, who's currently a pastor in Colorado,

he gave me some DVDs from this conference, and I put one of them in. The one that I

am going to share with you was titled A Deeper Healing. The speaker who I had never heard

about before was a woman named Johnny Erickson Tata, and what she shared brought me to tears.

It continued for years to be a part of God's theological renovation in my life,

and is one of those testimonies that I share very often with people who are going through

difficult times and don't understand God's will and suffering. It doesn't matter though,

if you're suffering or not, we all need to have this message in our recommendation file.

So when the Lord does bring an opportunity our way, be it our own suffering or someone else's,
