A shelter dog in Virginia helped a man avoid a seizure, and shortly after found her own forever home.

Diana is a lab pit bull mix.

She was found as a stray in Alta Vista, Virginia, which is about 30 minutes from the shelter.

Jackie Poppy is a volunteer with friends of Campbell County Animal Control in Rustburg, Virginia.

Last month, she brought Sienna to a community event the shelter attended.

When I got there with Sienna, we started walking around, and she started pulling on her leash really hard, which is unusual for her.

And she started going the direction to a certain man.

And when she got to him, she just sat there.

The man bent down to pet her and tell her she's a good dog.
