Greetings from zone 9b love the podcast. I have two questions. Okay. Question number one.

What are some interesting ever-bearing plants I've only heard of mulberry and strawberry?

Well, those are definitely some classic ever-bearing plants, but I think the better question rather than thinking of everbearing

is kind of just thinking of perennial plants that you can grow in the garden.

It's something I've really been thinking about because I'm trying to actually do a little more travel lately and

since I live in a year-round growing climate that can make it a little difficult

because every time I travel then someone needs to take care of the garden

right so I've been thinking about switching larger sections of the garden

to perennial plants, basically plants that grow year after year, right?

And so that's going to do a couple things for me.

That's going to make it a little bit easier to take care of

because they can die back in the winter, come back in the spring,

and I don't need to go through the whole starting seeds

process for sections of the garden.

They can help build the soil. There's a lot of different things going on.

And you know what? Even if I am in town and I do want to switch it out, you can just

grow almost any perennial plant as an annual anyways.
