We are picking up with day four of our finding peace devotional in the Bible app.

As always, I'm going to read the scripture and then Tori is going to read the Debo.

Let's do it.

The scripture is Colossians 1 verse 17 and it says this, he existed before anything else

and he holds all creation together.

The devotional is titled five essential beliefs for a peaceful heart and it says, if you're

a Christian, God alone is in charge of your life.

Bless your security and he's never been out of control over his creation for one fraction

of a second since the beginning of time.

He hasn't lost one measure of his power or might.

He is just as all-powerful, all-knowing, everywhere at all times and all-loving today

as he was at the dawn of man.

But we may not always understand his purposes, understanding the ways of God always leads

to an understanding that he'll act in a way that brings about eternal blessings for his

children.
