Okay, folks, welcome to another edition of Life on Planet Porky, or Planet Porky, to

abbreviate it. Thank you very much for tuning in. I've had a fantastic response, by the way,

to the podcast we've put out so far, myself and my wonderful production and technical team here,

and I love the responses I'm getting from you all.

Please keep them coming in. Okay. Now, I like to start the Planet Porky podcast with a statement

of intent about things that are concerning me I've seen this week. And I want to start off,

believe it or not, with my observations from a public house,

okay? Now, as you know, I've been quite a regular user, bladderation in moderation, of course,

of public houses for quite a long time, but let me tell you this, let me tell you this,

some things about pubs these days are getting on my nerves greatly. And for instance, I was in rather a nice pub in Stockbroker Belt Surrey this week,

and I like to go at quieter times rather than louder time, mid-afternoon or something like that.

I like to sit at the back, my own business, read a couple of my journals without a problem.

And then somebody comes in, right, and this pub, actually,

the door was shielded from the bar, if you see what I mean.

You came in and you had to turn sort of left for the bar.

So anybody came in and turned right could sort of hide away, okay?

So this guy comes in and he sits on a table too away from it,

a high table with a high stool, and he puts his

laptop down and he goes off and he gets a cup of coffee. Can you believe that? A cup of coffee

in a pub. People want coffee, please go to Costa or Nesto, whatever it's called, you know,

whatever these coffee bars are called, because the high streets are full of them. You don't need to go into a pub to have a cup of coffee.

You really don't, okay?
