At night, the lights in Houston sparkle.

That's what drew 23-year-old Tara Breckenridge to the city.

It was a young woman with dreams of building a career in photography,

not becoming one of the city's most enduring mysteries.

Yet, that's exactly what went down.

Atara had grown up in Del Rio, Texas, and she was the third of five kids who grew up in a deeply religious household.

After high school, she headed to Houston to chase that photography career, but city living was expensive and she needed cash to get by while she established herself.

And that's how she ended up at the men's club, a high-end adult night spot where the money flow, but work could be a bit dangerous.

And so the girl's working, learn quickly to keep a distance, at least emotionally.
