And we're not wasted any time off the top with this one. Let's get our guest right in here. Matt Donnelly is the host of the Viper cast, which is powered by Fantasy Points. And I've had the pleasure at Guestin on that show before. It was long overdue that we had him on with us. And if you want to check it out, you can find that show on the Dynasty Vipers YouTube page, or you can go to Dynasty Vipers.com. That's where all the rest of his content is, too. And it's not just Dynasty stuff. He's pumping out articles. He's giving you advice every week. So give him a follow on Twitter as well at Matt Donnelly F. And Matt, a welcome to the show for you this is a long time coming for

sure how are you doing buddy now that we're in the back half of the fantasy season how you holding up

1:01.6

I think we're doing okay now I think we kind of hit that uh perivial their fantasy wall that we all

1:07.1

seem to hit every single year usually hit that around week one nine week 10, now we're now transitioning into week number 11. So I feel much better about it. I took a little bit of a step back here on some of the content, cut back a little bit here the last couple weeks, and ready to make the big stretch here to help those who are making runs at those fantasy championships. That's what we're here for. Let's start with an update. I mean, this one could have an impact on fantasy championships for sure. The biggest injury that happened last week, Cooper Cup, diagnosed with a high ankle sprain. It's going to require surgery. He's going on IR for at least four weeks. And I mentioned this on Monday's show, and that was before we knew the official recovery

timeline.

1:45.8

But the Rams, they might not have much reason to rush him back, right?

1:49.6

So at best, he might be coming back during the fantasy playoffs.

1:53.2

Would he even be 100% at that point?

1:55.6

I mean, it's hard to expect much from him the rest of the way during the fantasy season.

So then, Matt, that turns our attention to the rest of the Rams roster. And you have Matthew Stafford, who missed last week with a concussion. He was still in the concussion protocol on Tuesday. I would have to think that he'll probably be cleared at some point this week, but we don't know that for sure yet. You have the backfield, which has been a mess behind that offensive

2:17.8

line, and the offensive line has dealt with a ton of injuries themselves. And now in the receiving

2:22.0

core, you don't have Cup. You have Alan Robinson, who's really disappointed since showing up in

2:27.0

L.A. Ben Scoronic, Van Jefferson, maybe the tight end, Tyler Higby gets a boost here.

2:33.1

Is there anybody in that offense who you want to start, or even really who you want a roster, now that we know that Cup is going to be out for at least a month? Or am I being too harsh there? You tell me if I'm being too harsh. Are there actually some pieces that maybe are interesting for fantasy? I think the short answer here is no. But I think this entire offense in general is what we call a

2:51.7

fantasy fade if we weren't already fading them already I mean poor poor quarterback play bad

2:56.6

offensive line no run game not exactly a recipe for success when you talk about fantasy football

3:01.2

and you mentioned about rushing Cooper Cup back in well I don't think they're in any hurry to rush

3:06.0

Matt Stafford back in either coming

off that concussion protocol. There's no need to bring him in. And we could see more John Wolford
