Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally and friends. I have one of my

funnest best most wonderful friends with me today and his name is Nathan. Hi Nathan.

Hey Nathan, actually I think God gave me Nathan so that I could have a lot of fun and a lot of deep

talks. We have a lot of fun together. But as many of you know, of course we are doing our book,

a lunch in our book this week and we just wanted to talk to you about something that is kind of on

our hearts and that is really helping moms and dads to know how are very specific ways to

love your children because that's what this book is all about. Only you can be you. We want our kids

to grow up having a really healthy sense that who they are is important, what they believe is important.

The family they come from is important that no matter where they go in the world, they have this

good foundation that we've been able to establish. But Nathan and I were thinking that there if we could

come up with a few ways that have been encouraging to him and that I really applied in our lives,

especially for boys. How do love your boys? Five ways to love your boys. We thought it might be fun.

So Nate, you want to say a little bit more about that or start us off? Well yeah, I'm just really

excited for this book because I think it's a great message. I mean only you can be you is the whole point

of it is just that every kid is made is made uniquely and that's a beautiful and wonderful thing.

You know, we live in a culture that wants to fit everything including children to put a

key cutter mold. And I'm sort of glad I wasn't as a little boy forced to fit a mold of culture,

of our kids, even of my siblings. I was celebrated for being who I was and so it's kind of fun to come up with
