Hey, listen, before we get started with the hour,

let's celebrate moms and wish everybody a happy Mother's Day

for this weekend.

A favorite sports memory involving your mother.

I'll go first.

So at a very early age, I learned that my mom was a passionate supporter of me

and my brothers, because I could hear her in the beginning days,

six years old, playing soccer, cheering if I did anything at all.

Like kick the ball, you know, there was a very loud celebration of said moment.

And then as the years advanced and the sports became bountiful when I played,

just about everything, like a lot of kids just season to season,

playing everything, you know, she never missed a game.

And I'm forever grateful of that.

I never realized it at the time how not everybody was that fortunate, you know.
