You know, the ones that are uncomfortable for good Christians to admit that they actually feel, but they're part of being human. In this season, we're getting

honest with God about them. As we bring these hard, uncomfortable emotions to him,

we'll actually receive an exchange, the peace, the joy, the rest that only God can give.

Practicing being honest with God now will give us language to pray through uncomfortable emotions in the hard times.

So as we begin, find a quiet place and take a deep breath as we enter into God's loving

presence together.

Today's passage comes from Psalm 88, verse 2.

May my prayer reach your presence, oh God.

Listen to my cry.

Let's begin by reciting God's goodness,

praising Him for who he is

and for what he has done in our lives.

Oh, Lord, you are the God of my salvation. You're the one that I pray to and the one I'm reaching out to right now because my hope is in you alone. Where else can I go but you? When other people disappoint me,

God, I know that you will never disappoint me. And when I disappoint others, God, I know that your loving kindness reaches to the heavens and that you receive me

with open arms. Thank you for being such a good, good father. So take a moment to reflect on this

situation.
