It was a claim made on the radio yesterday by Sean that the calls will benefit the New York Knicks in Game 5 because the league wants the series to extend and would prefer the Knicks being in the NBA finals.

And again, I'm sure that the league, if you could get truth serum on Adam Silver, he would never admit it.

Of course he prefers the Knicks in the NBA finals. That would get a better rating. Nick's Thunder.

It is what it is.

But that doesn't mean you do anything to change the results.

And I think that's a very lazy narrative that's been out there for a long time.

So I challenged Sean to watch the game with a critical eye and cite to us all the calls that went the next way. So did you make

a list? Did I make a list? No, I didn't make a list. I noticed three moments. I texted them in our

chat and I wasn't going to sit there with a pen and paper all night because I liked watching the game

like a human being. That's what happened. Well, I made a list. Pascal Seaccombe drew a foul against Carl Anthony Towns about five minutes into the game,

in which there was no foul.

You know, we give Cat a lot of crap for the dumb fouls he commits, and he does commit some dumb

fouls.

But four and a half minutes into the game, when Seacom got to the free throw line, there

was no contact.

And it was a terrible call that was pro-Indiana. Now, Seacom split the free throw line, there was no contact. And it was a terrible call that was pro-Indiana.

Now, Seacom split the free throw, so it really only benefited the Pacers a point.

But that's one.

That was one that jumped out at me and say, that's a noticeably bad call.

And it actually defeats Sean's purpose.

It was pro-Indiana.
