There is not much going on in the news as you know this nice long Memorial Day weekend

really left people at home but I'll tell you what I'm out here doing what some call the

Lord's work I'm sure the Lord's like really this is what I wanted for work yes this is

it twice daily 25 minute episodes of bite-size content That's the Lord's work as I see fit.

And we've got some firings happening here in the world of baseball. You know it's

summer when we've got a good baseball umpire firingmpire Angel Hernandez to retire from Majorly Baseball.

Okay, I guess it's not a firing, it's a you should no longer be working.

Angel Hernandez, the polarizing veteran umpire who has drawn the wrath and

exasperation from players, managers, and fans alike over three decades is retiring from

Major League Baseball, a high-ranking baseball official told USA Today.

Hernandez had spent the last two weeks negotiating a financial settlement before reaching a

resolution over the weekend.

The longtime umpire confirmed his retirement in a statement to USA Today on Monday night. Starting with my first Major League game in 1991, I've had the very good experience of living out my childhood dream of umpiring in the major leagues.
