players the last 50 years.

I guess it was a pretty interesting

discussion for people. And we got some emails about it, but we also got a lot of great other emails.

So what do you say we make this in all mailbag episode? That's a brilliant idea, Stu. Before we

start with our mailbag from our outstanding listeners, let's have one

to one mailbag thing from the executive editor of Athon Sports just for context.

Sure. He responded to our conversation. He pointed out that only eight of 16 panelists

actually voted for Marcus Mariotta at all, which shocks me a little bit.

And he said my high vote of having Marriota in the top 10 was the only reason why he actually

made the top 50.

I think he should send you some sort of appreciation.

That should be Marcus.

Yes, Marcus should.

Marcus should send you maybe something a little bit from his home state or maybe from Nashville. Just to, yeah, some macadamia. Yeah. Interesting that you had two outside votes. You were the only person to vote for Christian McCaffrey, which kind of surprises me. I mean, I didn't have him on mine, but, you know,

that's not an outlandish one. And you were the only person to vote for the head coach at your

alma mater at Fitz. The last one doesn't surprise me, but yeah, I mean, if Barry Sanders is number

two, I believe, why wouldn't the guy who broke his single season all-purpose record be one of the 50 best?

No, that's a valid argument.

Look, and the reason why I stopped short of saying I'm shocked about Mario-Ota, who I would argue Marioita statistically is the greatest college quarterback that we've seen just from a statistic standpoint of playing
