But last night, the New York Mets were center stage.

No Yankees. No Knicks.

And quite frankly, Juan Soto annoyed me when he grounded into a double play in the third inning.

When he didn't hustle on the ball off the green monster, I wasn't that annoyed because one play later, he stole second to make up for it.

So I was more just annoyed by the Mets offense continuing to fumble the bag, one for eight with runners in scoring position, a bad night from Francisco Lindo, a bad night from Brandon Nimmo.

And yes, a bad night from Juan Soto.

But I was annoyed by just that.

But Juan Soto made

a big, big mistake after

the game. He lied to us.

And I'm not saying he lied to us

about being happy here or he really wants

to be a Yankee or any of that fake crap that's

out there. I'm talking about stuff that you can't deny.

And to me, Juan Soto had a very bad Monday night, not because he went one for four, and not

because he bounced in him with double play, and not because he didn't run out a ball off

the Green Monster because he did the one thing you can't do to New York
