We're going to talk a little college football as always, but Bruce, I just wanted to say real quick.

words about the podcast we did last week about the ESPN layoffs.

It says ESPN layoffs right in the title.

It was kind of depressing, honestly, but we've heard a lot of people say they appreciated that

conversation.

Yeah, and look, I think it's really beyond just ESPN.

I think it's kind of an industry-wide thing.

So, again, I would like to be more optimistic about it, but I think there's a lot of things

in the job world that sometimes feel like they're trending in that direction. it, but I think there's a lot of things in the job world that sometimes

So, but moving along, this is the first podcast we've done since the end of the NFL draft,

which is really finished up over the weekend.

Before we get into some larger topics in that, there was one thing that kind of struck me as we should talk about this.

So you and I both agreed to Sean Watson was the best quarterback in college football last year, right?

Even though we didn't vote for him for the Heisman, fair to say, after him leading Clemson to a national title.

Yeah. And in fact, I can't remember a situationmson to a national title. Yeah.

And in fact, I can't remember a situation where college writers were more united in defense of a college prospect.
