0:00.0	We start today with some major news from the war on drugs or trying to end it quite frankly.
0:12.1	We've been waiting for this for a while we thought it might
0:14.6	happen it's now moving forward NBC News reports the Biden administration plans to
0:19.6	reclassify marijuana known to some as cannabis easing restrictions nationwide.
0:27.4	Cannabis is currently classified alongside heroin and LSD.
0:31.0	The administration is expected to reschedule it in a category that includes steroids and
0:36.2	Tylenol with codeine.
0:38.7	We will talk about why this is such a major deal.
0:41.3	This is, there are a couple of caveats here which we will discuss, but the bigger
0:45.4	story here is that I just continue to be pleasantly surprised that Joe Biden is doing things
0:51.1	in areas that quite frankly during the campaign I didn't think he
0:54.0	cared much about.
0:55.3	When Joe Biden kind of paid lip service to student loan debt forgiveness during the campaign,
1:00.4	I didn't feel as though this was something he genuinely cared about and yet Joe
1:04.8	Biden has done more student loan debt forgiveness than any president in history and he's
1:08.4	trying to do more and he's only not able to do more to the extent that the
1:11.4	Supreme Court stops him. I don't know whether he
1:14.1	personally cares about it. Doesn't really matter. It's sort of like listen I think
1:17.8	Trump personally is pro-choice. But now he's saying he's up for punishing
1:21.4	the women again.
1:22.8	Doesn't matter what you personally believe.
1:25.3	What matters is how you govern and we'll get to Trump and abortion in a moment.
