Aloha and welcome to our four-year anniversary Q&A podcast.

Patty and I are celebrating four years of podcasting, and it's almost hard to believe that

this much time has passed because it really just feels like yesterday that her and I started this.

And we tell the story every year that we didn't have this big expectation of what it was going to be.

Her and I were just always having these wild conversations,

and we would always joke about, wow, if people could hear us, I wonder what they would think.

So that turned into, well, let's record ourselves and listen to it. And then it was like,

well, this sounds actually pretty good. Let's pick a topic. And we released that first episode

and the rest is history. And so here we are.

And for those of you who have been patiently waiting since June, New Moon, to hear this episode,

I apologize. I was on the mainland. I hosted two retreats in a row. They were my biggest events

thus far. They were very powerful and very beautiful,

but it took a lot of energy and a lot of time. And I probably underestimated how busy I was going to be

in addition to being part of the whole massive flight cancellation debacle that was happening.

I had two flights canceled and it took me an extra week to get back home. So I'm here now

and we are here now to bring this episode to you. So first of all, Patty, happy fourth anniversary.
