| 0:00.0 | Hey guys, welcome to the Pax East 2011 Day 2. We're here talking about some of the games that we saw on the second day of Pax here. Day 2 packs? Day 2 packs. We're tired. It's been a long day. Not 3, but 2. Oh, man, that was a crazy day. It's the thing I get ready for tomorrow, right? Hey, SciFi. Let's take the summer with so we can go to sleep. Sci-Fi, do you want to be on the show? |
| 0:38.7 | She says you don't want to be on the show. |
| 0:40.1 | That's cool. |
| 0:40.5 | That's cool. |
| 0:50.3 | She's playing that Minecraft. It'll just be us. So what did you play today, Carlos? Hold on. Let me pull up my quick notes. Okay, how about I start? Okay, go ahead. |
| 0:53.5 | Well, when we first got into the convention center, |
| 0:55.9 | Nolan saw, you saw Zelda on the 3DS, right? |
| 0:57.1 | I went to Zelda on the 3DS, right? |
| 0:56.0 | I went to Zelda on the 3DS. |
| 0:57.2 | How did that look? |
| 0:58.2 | So it's definitely a lot better than, |
| 1:02.0 | Street Fighter and Resident Evil. |
| 1:05.3 | Like, when I, if you listen to the Day One show, |
| 1:07.5 | I mean, they looked pretty good, |
| 1:09.9 | but there was, you know, around the edges, they were kind of fuzzy and stuff. But when I played Zelda, it definitely looked good, which shows me that, you know, the DS does have potential to, you know, have good 3D. Probably those simpler graphics, brighter colors. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it probably helped. Yeah, it probably did. And even, yeah, once again, like again, like, even when I pulled it down to 2D, it still looked really good. You mean, like, texture-wise? Yeah, texture-wise. Oh, no, they did some updates. The textures... No, no, no. I'm not comparing this to the original range of time. I'm comparing it to other 3DS games I saw. Okay. Like, it was just higher quality. |
| 1:56.8 | Another thing that was interesting was when you, like, pull up, like, the slingshot mode or any kind of first-person view, you can use the DS as kind of, like, as if it was, the slingshot. You can, if you, like, literally, like, move it to the rider, move it to the left, link, |
| 2:01.3 | and the game will move his slingshot around. |
| 2:04.2 | Which is cool. |
| 2:04.8 | Yeah, but it's not necessary. |
| 2:06.1 | Some of the other things are going to add to the teacher. |
| 2:07.4 | The, uh, the DS game, uh, Silent Hunter, I think it's called, the submarine game, |
| 2:14.6 | has the same kind of thing with the Periscope. |
