Hey everyone, Nick here from 4Playnetwork.com. It is Thursday, January 27th, 2022.

And you're probably wondering what this is. You don't see my face on here alone very often.

But let's call this a bit of a New Year's resolution. I want to get in the habit of releasing these very short,

succinct updates, housekeeping, I guess you'll call it, um, on a weekly basis.

So it's to go up on YouTube and on, uh, Twitter and our podcast feed and all that stuff.

Um, just to kind of make sure everybody's in the loop, give everybody the most opportunities to

get involved, uh, participate in all the stuff that we're doing. And, uh, I wanted to make sure

we got one out today because we're recording our 2021 award show tonight at 7 p.m. Central Standard

Time. Again, that's Thursday, January 27th at 7 p.m. Central Standard Time on Twitch.tv slash

four player podcast.

We're starting about an hour early because these shows tend to go long, so getting started at 7 o'clock.

And Brad will be there. It's his first podcast in over five months. He's been on paternity leave for quite a while.

So that in and of itself should be exciting but you know i think we have about 23 categories

to run through we'll talk about our winners and our runner-ups in categories like best sequel uh best

new IP biggest disappointment that kind of thing uh so it's gonna be a lot of fun it's be a long

long show but uh we'll have a lot of stuff to talk about If you're an audio listener, I'll be breaking this up into five smaller episodes

and releasing them one a day starting on Monday.

So if you listen purely through the podcast feed, you'll have plenty of stuff to listen

to next week.

Also, related to Game of the Year stuff, we are

once again polling the community to figure out our overall community top 10 games of 2021.
