A big name signing for the San Francisco 49ers, man. And I kind of came around to the idea of maybe Mike Evans was a possibility a week ago. I thought, man, no shot. Mike Evans, too many teams need a wide receiver. Would he pick the 49ers? Is he the right style of fit for the San Francisco 49ers crock? But the more I think about it, now that he has been signed, I mean, you know Kyle Shanahan is going to do. And we talked a little bit about Mike Evans on last night's show as a possibility for the 49ers. To my knowledge, Romeo Dobbs is not signed yet either, right? And apparently, Kroc, according to reports, maybe the 49ers were willing to go up to $30 million, that the 29 mil per year on a four-year contract, Alec Pierce signed with the Colts, that the 49ers might have been one the teams that that somebody apparently bit even more than that, which seems insane to me because

29 million for Alec Pierce feels like a lot.

And the 49ers went shopping at a little more discounted aisle.

They got a player who had had obviously a huge peak in his career.

But what do we expect that the 49ers are getting out of Mike Evans? Because I can hear it now. Kyle Shanahan's going to take the mic and talk

about Mike Evans and he's going to say, man, he's just a player that I've enjoyed watching for a

long time. I think the world of him as a player, admired him from afar,

and jumped at the chance to bring him into the San Francisco 49ers. And Kyle loves his star players,

right? How much does he have left in the tank would be my question? And kind of a schematic fit,

because Mike Evans isn't the quintessential, I'm going to route you up guy. And that's usually kind of Kyle Shanahan's type. He's a very different player, 6-5, 230 pounds, crock. How does he fit in with the 49ers? How much gas do you think is left in Mike Evans' tank? No, I think there's some things that you get, right? You do get a vertical field stretcher, but not the way I think most people are thinking. A lot of times you're thinking of a guy that's just going to burn you down the sideline, winning with separation down the field. That's not Mike Evans. He's going to win in a different way vertically. He's going to win with size. And we talked about it a little bit on yesterday's episode. I'm talking about a 6 foot

5, 235 plus pound receiver who's physical at the catch point. He's going to box

deepest the backs out. And, you know, especially when he stretches his arms out, we talk about
