Welcome to another locked on podcast network crossover episode. I am Brian Peacock

host of locked on 49ers. With me is Brad Bear Modder of locked on Rams, a big division matchup coming up this weekend.

A little bit of a short week for the 49ers, a long week for the Rams who played

Thursday night versus the 49ers who played Monday night and very different

trajectories right now in the 2019 season for these two teams. The Rams

having dropped two in a row. Coming out of the preseason end of the regular season I

think everyone even 49ers fans were looking at the schedule saying okay

Week six this is the defending NFC champions on the road in their house in Los Angeles, probably pencil in an L here,

but the way the first five weeks have looked, I think those ideas maybe have changed a little bit.

Yeah, 100% and I think if you asked a lot of Rams Nation that same question they would have penciled in that W and moved on and you know we did that during the off season

We talked about all the match-ups once the schedule came out and kind of went through and one of the ones I was nervous about

was that short Thursday night game up in Seattle it was a crazy game all the way to the

end of one-point game that didn't go in our favor and now you're looking at

back-to-back NFC opponents and now you're looking at back to back

NFC opponents and now you're looking at the San Francisco 49ers game

that now becomes extremely important especially on how well they're

playing being four and oh only one of two undefeated teams in the NFL and they're coming into town and you think, okay, home game, this is awesome, but then you go back to our last home game versus the bucks.

And that was not very pretty. So it's tough as you're looking to find encouragement about this game

trying not to make it too big of a deal but at the same time you know you are in week

six you're already a couple games behind them even though you guys have had the
