Summary

The San Francisco 49ers sit atop the NFC with a 4-1 record, but they have done a lot of that with Mac Jones at quarterback and it shows that Jones deserves a chance to keep the starting gig, even when Brock Purdy is healthy. The Baltimore Ravens are in the opposite situation, sitting at 1-4 and desperately needing Lamar Jackson back in the lineup. The Green Bay Packers are currently in the middle of the pack of the NFC despite Super Bowl dreams, but it is the Washington Commanders who have a better chance of catching the leader in their division. Finally, the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos are both good teams, but the Broncos and Bo Nix inspire more confidence to win a playoff game this season.
