I'm Mike Dempsey-Long with Football Guy's own Bob Harris and Bob Week 5 will be honest.

Before we know it, Thursday night football kicking off with the 49ers and the LA Rams.

And already we're finding out that some players are going to be

questionable to play here, according to general manager John Lynch of the 49ers.

Let's start with Ricky Pearsall, Bob. Going to be questionable when the official injury

report is out. Any guess on which way this is going? I think the bad news for Pearsall and all

the guys that we're going to talk about here,

none of them practiced on Tuesday, the only real practice the week, and even that was a walkthrough.

So we're not going to have a lot of information to go on as we head into the game.

It'll probably come down to pregame decisions and we'll find out then.

I do feel of all the players we're going to talk about here,

Pierceall seems like the least likely to sit this game out. Okay. Any word on Joanne Jennings

in this whole situation? Yeah, he was the one guy that John Lynch didn't mention. He also did not

practice. So it seems like the short turnaround is going to be an issue for him. I saw him return from what seemed to be a very painful ribidry. Maybe they can help him out with an injection or something like that to get him on the field. That would be the hope. So it seems possible. But the fact he wasn't discussed with Pearsall and Purdy as being questionable, kind of is a little encouraging. Or discouraging. Or discouraging. I don't know which way to go.

You know, which side of the fence it's going to be on.

Maybe these guys are closer to playing than Jennings is.

Purdy, we know this, no practice this week regardless.

So if he does play on Thursday night, Bob,

I assume most managers would have a better option that a quarterback on a short week

with no practice, who we know his toe is bothering him. Yeah, I think that's the key. And by the way,
