49ers. The Niners are getting sneaky with their defense. The team announced yesterday that

they've signed linebacker Larry Worth the third to a three-year

contract and in order to make space for Worth on the roster, the Niners cut linebacker Milo Eifler.

If you're wondering where he came from, Worth actually took part in the Niners rookie camp on a

tryout basis before signing the deal and he also has experience at safety.

Now that in and of itself, of course,

isn't huge news. Here's the sneaky part. Worth continues a trend of positional flexibility with this defense. He is now the sixth 49ers player with experience at both linebacker and safety,
