Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers. Matt Barrows continues to do yeoman's work for us fans in the athletic.

He sat down with Adam Peters and went through the entire draft class and got a comment on

every single player. Now, I'm not going to name all of them because you should go read the article

yourself, but I did pick out a few tidbits for you. First on Jire Brown, the first

pick in the draft for the Niners. So many people apparently went to see him play and did scouting

work on him that after the coaching staff got involved this spring, Adam Peters had 13 different

reports on him. If this guy stinks, there's going to be a lot of people with egg on their face.

Jake Moody, you may be wondering why the Niners took him so early. Apparently, he had seven

pre-draft workouts when normal kicking prospects usually get two or three, so that compelled the

Niners to take him earlier rather than the fifth round where a lot of kickers usually go.
