Rookie mini camp is almost upon us, and the Niners released the schedule yesterday.

Tomorrow, we are going to get to hear from the rookies at 1.30 p.m. Pacific time. Then on Friday, defensive coordinator Nick Sorenson will have his first press conference

in his new position at 1130. Practice will take place after that, which will be open to

the media until team drills begin. Now, I have a bunch of questions I would like ask. First of all,

Ricky Pearsall. Number one, with a bullet. Has the team told you wide receiver three is up for grabs? Number two, have you touched

base with Brock Purdy at all about a workout? You said you wanted to. Are any plans in motion?

Number three, you and Diba were working out the other day. What did he tell you about being a wide

receiver in Kyle Shanahan's system? Did he give you any pointers for learning the offense? Also,

Nick Sorenson. Number one again, no question about it. What is Brandon Staley's role in your

defense? What have you been told about it? What did Kyle say about it? Have you met with

Sorensen? Have you talked about how you two are going to mesh? What is he
