I'm Rob Stats Guerrera. Today is Monday, May 11th, 2026. Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers.

Rookie minicamp is officially in the books, and it was mostly uneventful, but there were a

couple things worth bringing to your attention.

First of all, nobody got hurt, which with this 49ers team is a win.

Let's celebrate the small victories when we can get them.

Second of all, listen to Dieter and Hutch talk about third round pick Romello Heights.

Clearly the standout of whatever could stand out on a day like today.

That boy different.

It was, let's be clear, it was the giant ring, the giant ring, Hula hoop figure eight drill where you like

bend and drop the towel and you could literally hear everyone else watching it

getting like losing it they're like ooh like John Lynch was holding himself back because

everybody else is sort of like going as fast as they can but they're moving like a human

it's hard to like maintain speed while bending why they's why they do the drill. And Ramello Heights's like hitting like almost like a jump step. Like he's doing, he's almost doing a hitting a cross chop as he does it to bend down. There's one other guy who I've seen do it like that. He wears 97 for this team. Yeah. I mean, listen, there's a reason, like, we were excited about him.

Like, there's a reason like we were excited about him.

Like, he's very good.

Now, as I have been saying, any good reports need to be taken with a massive grain of salt. And as they said, we're talking about a drill in practice.

So let's not get too ahead of our skis.

Still, a good report is better than a bad report.

And if height is anything close to what the Niners hope he could be,

he could be a real contributor as a pass rusher, even as a rookie.

And God knows this team could use that.
