0:18.1	Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers.
0:21.9	For the second time this offseason, the 49ers failed to secure someone they thought they
0:26.3	were going to be able to add to the roster. We all remember Eric Kendricks initially
0:30.8	agreeing to a deal ultimately leaving and going with the Cowboys. Now it's Brock Wright,
0:37.2	back up tight end.
0:38.4	He was a restricted free agent from the Lions.
0:41.3	49ers signed him to an offer sheet, but the Lions had the right to match the offer
0:45.8	sheet, which they did yesterday.
0:48.6	So what does that mean?
0:50.0	Means the 49ers are SOL, basically.
0:53.0	They don't get Brock Wright.
0:55.1	They now still have to search for a backup tight end.
0:59.1	And I know, I know they have Kam Latu, but let's be honest.
1:02.7	The team benched him for the year by putting them on IR.
1:05.8	And the fact that they were pursuing Brock Wright in the first place kind of tells you how they feel about Kam Latu's chances of developing into a valuable player.
