I'm Rob Stats Guerrera. Today is Thursday, August 21st, 2025. Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers. We'll get to the trade the

Niners made yesterday, but first we begin as we always do with the injury report. The following

players did not participate in practice. Malik Turner, Jacob Cowing, Mack Jones, Joanne Jennings,

Jordan Watkins, Upton Stout, Trey Brown, Richie Grant,

Jordan James, Mike Hell Williams, C.J. West, Dominic Pony, Ben Barch, Kevin Givens, Fabian Moreau,

Robert Beale, and Stone Blanton. Barch is doing lengthy workouts on the side. Nick Bosa did

individual drills for the second straight day, but nothing on the side. Nick Bosa did individual drills for the second straight

day, but nothing with the team. Don't know if that's related to his neck soreness or what,

but that's what Nick Bosa is up to. Now, the news came last night that John Lynch finally

did swing a trade for a wide receiver swapping late round

picks in 2027 with the Kansas City Chiefs for Sky Moore. You may remember more as a second round

pick back in 2022, but he hasn't really done anything in Kansas City to this point. Once the deal

went down, I reached out to Steven Serta,

friend of the show, who covers the chiefs for us here at the Pro Football Insiders, to find out

exactly what we're getting. Sky Moore certainly never lived up to his second round draft capital

for the Kansas City Chiefs, but he did have last year cut short by injury. And if there's any glimmer of hope that he can revitalize his NFL career,

he's shown a little bit of ability to create yards after the catch.

He's probably going to have a hard time making this year's roster as the Chiefs have a

deep wide receiver room.

So felt like it was the best thing for Kansas City to part ways and for Skymore

to get a fresh opportunity to see if he can bounce back in his NFL career. More probably
