I'm Rob Stats Guerrera. Today is Wednesday, October 8th, 2025. Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers.

After his 10-katch 142-yard performance against the Rams,

Kendrick Bourne was KMBR's player of the week.

He joined them yesterday.

And as you might expect, he was asked about playing with Mack Jones for the second time.

Personally, I think he's made a lot of growth and changes. I think he's having more fun. I kind of said it earlier, and he's just playing free, man. I think that's super important for growth in anyone to have a perspective of the game of that. It's a child's game, man, and we can't forget that. You know, we take it serious it is serious it's important but also

finding a joy and i think that's what i've seen most in him that's different but the competitive

spirit um how he prepares and everything is still the same and and i'm just happy to be back around

with him you know it's god's plan and i never could thought that i would play with him over here

um like we played over there, his rookie year

and my, what was that, my fifth year and stuff like that.

So it's just a story that I don't think anybody could have written.

We talk about it all the time.

We text each other after the game, which is like, man, we're writing the coolest story,

and it's just dope.

And I just want to keep, you know, keep putting good things on tape, having good film and growing his teammates.

There were a lot of questions about Mack as a leader and a teammate in New England, but he

seems to be pretty well liked in San Francisco. Of course, when you win every game you start,

that usually helps. Speaking of their time in New England, they asked Kendrick Bourne,

what is the biggest difference between Patriots,

Mac Jones and 49ers, Mac Jones? His energy. I think he could see it like in his interviews
