George Kittle was making the rounds yesterday because of Tideon University, and he had some

interesting things to say on the various shows on which he appeared. Let's start with Good

Morning Football, where he was asked, as always, whether the team needs an elite quarterback to win.

We have so many good players.

And yes, having a fantastic quarterback would help us out a lot because it is the most

important position in probably sports.

But we have three, four guys right now that can sting the ball a little bit.

You know, Brock Pretty went on an eight-note tear last year.

So, you know, hopefully he's feeling back to his normal self.

Trey Lance is taking steps forward.

I think he's more than suitable to play quarterback for us.

You know, he had some great reps at OTAs.

We connect on a couple big plays.

Connected with IUC on a couple of big plays.

And then, hey, Sam Darnold came in. He threw some good balls to connect on big players with IU, the other tight end.

So like quarterbacks are moving, get some reps in this training camp, get a field for everybody.

And let's just go play some football.

Boy, those 49ers players are getting very savvy when answering quarterback questions.

He was sure to mention the top three quarterbacks in his answer.

And it's similar to what he has been saying for the, oh, I don't know, five years he's been dealing with quarterback questions.
