1:14.7	I'm Rob Stats Guerrera. Today is Tuesday, July 29, 2025. Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers. Day one of padded practice for the 49ers was a success and not just because nobody got injured. Also because
1:21.0	two of the three linemen the 49ers drafted stood out immediately. Mikel Williams had several impressive plays in practice,
1:29.3	including blowing up Trent Williams at one point,
1:31.7	and CJ West dominated in one-on-one drills
1:35.1	against pretty much anybody that lined up across from him.
1:38.6	Just listen to Robert Sala talk about the rookies.
1:41.2	Mikel is going to be a hell of a football player.
2:17.6	And Nick Martin's doing a really nice job. Upton's doing a nice job. There's some young guys, C.J. West is doing a really nice job. They're all all the way across the board. Segal, he's getting his legs underneath them. Alfred Collins, you know, they didn't get any OTA reps, so they're coming along. But it's a promising group. promising group. It work with those guys. They're sponges. Every day is something new. And, you know, so they're doing a very nice job. Obviously, that's all good. And some of those reviews from Sala were better than others. But, you know, we can be happy about that. Even though later in the press conference, Sala himself said, be very careful about rookies because they can be very deceiving.
