I'm Rob Stats Guerrera. Today is Friday, June 6th, 2023. Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers.

First, the practice report, quite a few big names did not take part, but we'll get to some of the details why.

Aaron Banks first on the list.

He was seen going through physical therapy on the field. He is not going to play this week,

of course, but the club is hopeful that he'll be available for next week. Jimmy Garoppolo didn't

practice. Javon Kinlaw was sick, so he missed practice, not due to the knee injury, due to

sickness. Christian McCaffrey did not participate. He's unlikely to go this week. Ambrie Thomas

did not participate. Dre Greenlaw did not participate. He's not expected to play this week either,

although he is technically day to day. On the good side, Debo Samuel and Elijah Mitchell were both full participants in

practice and could be activated for Sunday's game. Of course, the big focus this week has been

the defense. We all know by now, they weren't very good on Sunday. D'Meek O'Ryan's met the media
