let's get to the schedule so you know what is coming up.

Tomorrow, 12.30 p.m. Pacific Time practice, which will be open to the media until the team's

real start, of course.

After practice, we're going to hear from a few

people. First up, 2 p.m. Pacific time run game coordinator, offensive line coach Chris Forrester,

one of the most interesting and informative coaches on the staff. I love his press conferences.

I am sure he's going to have a lot of interesting things to say, and you will hear about those

after the press conference. I'll have him for you in 49ers and 5.

Of course, after Forrester, special teams coordinator Brian Schneider.

Normally, I wouldn't care about the special teams coordinator, and neither should you.

But because of the new kickoff rules, I'm fascinated to hear sort of what his thinking is, how the 49ers might approach it. There's actually a little

bit of juice to a special teams coordinator interview, believe it or not. And of course,

following Schneider, select players will have availability as well. Now, the big storyline for the 49ers,

Brandon Ayyuk, we probably don't expect to show up because he still wants a contract. But what

about Christian McCaffrey? We had heard from pro football talk and Mike Florio that the absence of McCaffrey

last week was not about his contract. So what is it about? Some people have said, well, you know,

he's getting married. He's got the wedding coming up. But that is not the case. I mean, the wedding is coming up. Don't get me

wrong, but it's actually at the end of June. It's like more than 30 days away. They scheduled the
